Wednesday evening, February 1, Sarasota Fiction Writers welcomes the Herald Tribune’s Word, books and profiles writer/editor, Susan Rife. Please join us in the Selby Library Auditorium at 6:15 p.m.
Susan will wax philosophical, and practical, on ‘a day in the life of SR, arts columnist/book reviewer.’ She will tell us her spin on what will happen to the content of the HT under its new ownership. She will tell us how she sees the delivery of news and reviews as we move further into the digital age. As a reader herself, she will reveal what SHE looks for when she chooses to read a book: what grabs her attention? What moves her heart? What authors have given her memorable characters? Does she read blogs? (She contributes to the HT’s blog,
http://artssarasota.com/category/content/blogs/susan-rife/ .) If so, which ones? As authors, should we pay attention to them?
Please bring your relevant questions to Susan as she enlightens us.
